Harbor Tournament: Harbor went 6-0 and won its tournament Saturday for the first time since 2018 and third time since ’08, coach Matt Schutz’s first year at the helm.
Pirates senior libero Tara Biakanja was named tournament MVP, and sophomore setter Maren O’Farrell and sophomore outside hitter Isla Johnson were named to the all-tournament team.
In Gold Division action, the Pirates defeated Scotts Valley 25-23, 25-13 in the quarterfinals; Santa Cruz 25-22, 25-21 in the semifinals; and Soquel 25-16, 25-21 in the championship.
Harbor beat Monterey (25-18, 25-12), Torres of Madera (25-15, 25-11) and Sobrato (26-24, 25-10) in pool play.
