Senior Isabella Horn had five goals, two assists, and three steals to help Harbor High’s girls water polo team beat Carmel 12-4 in their nonleague match Thursday.
Senior captain Kaylee Gooch produced three goals, three assists, and three steals. Sophomore Abigail Higgins had two goals, one assist, and one steal.
Junior Scout Bauman scored one goal and won three of the four sprints. Senior captain Maya Manildi also scored, and senior captain Moorea Robertson had two assists and three steals.
“This was a great start to the season,” Pirates coach Regan Eymann said. “The team played well both on defense and offense, and I am super proud of what we put together in this first game.”
Harbor (1-0) hosts Pioneer of San Jose on Tuesday.
