GSE Students Working in the Grow Quad
This past weekend over 35 people joined Harbor's Grow Quad garden work day for it's 3rd annual exchange student visit. Students from Global Student Embassy's partnership programs in Ecuador and Nicaragua visited with Harbor's GSE and Grow Quad clubs to prepare our food forrest, getting it ready for Spring. Students from Soquel and Santa Cruz high were in attendance as well, bridging the gap between the three high schools in our district!

Students worked on art projects for the garden, building a retaining wall to help stop water based erosion, weeding, and planting cover crop seed. Our AP Spanish students were also able to work on their Seal of Biliteracy by volunteering and practicing their Spanish with our Ecuadorian and Nicaraguan students.
