SANTA CRUZ — The combined Harbor and Soquel high schools’ Knights-Pirates Theatre Collective is getting ready to present “Little Shop of Horrors” this weekend and next at Cathy Warner Theater at Harbor High.
Audrey II, pet named Twoey, is the main antagonist in the play and the plant requires human blood to survive. The upcoming show is student-directed by Luna Rodenbush, student-choreographed by Leila Veitch, technically directed by Lyndsey Gould, and musically directed by Soquel and Santa Cruz High School teacher Jorge Torrez.
Upcoming performances will take place April 14-16 and 21-23.
The 18-person cast stars Niall Andrews as Seymour Krelborn, Stella Hefti as Audrey, Samuel Primavera as Mr. Mushnik, Natali Blanco as Crystal, Sadie Richardson as Chiffon, Hazel Termini as Ronnette, Audrey Hackforth as Orin Scrivello, DDS., and Sage Sequoia Fichera as the voice of Audrey II. Audrey II puppets were made by the Puppetry Institute’s Ricki Vincent and will be operated by students Miles Wade and Finn Duggan. (Link to Sentinel Article)
