Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) is an annual campaign to educate the public about the realities of eating disorders and to provide hope, support, and visibility to individuals and families affected by eating disorders.

Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2023 is taking place
Monday, February 27 - Sunday, March 5 .

The Project LIT Book Club is hosting Lauren O'Brien, a clinician who has been working in the field of eating disorders for over ten years.
Ms. O'Brien will speak in the Library on Tuesday, Feb. 28, during lunch.
The discussion will include an introduction to eating disorders: background and definitions;
eating disorders in schools and prevention strategies; and options for treatment and recovery.
