We had over 20 students join us for our the Grow Quad's first garden work day! Even a few Saturday Day school attendees joined in on getting the garden ready for the upcoming winter months!

Some of the projects that we accomplished were:
*adding mulch and clearing areas for our growing fruit trees
*planting radish, kohlrabi, cabbage, and carrots in the raised beds
 *harvesting our tomatoes and pumpkins
*adding cardboard and mulching the pathways
 *weeding the native plant patches
*cover cropping some of the cleared areas to add nitrogen to condition the soil for spring planting

Want to clear out some of your old garden equipment and tools? We've got you covered!

If you have any used garden tools, old garden gloves, garden equipment and/or decorations that you want to clear out-just contact me and we can take it off your hands!

Stay tuned for our next community work day!

Cheers,
GSE and Grow Quad garden club
