Harbor High second baseman Luke Hartel has committed to NCAA Division II Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.
Hartel batted .374 with eight doubles, two triples, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored and five stolen bases in 2021. He was named an all-Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League second-team selection.
“Luke is a very dedicated baseball player who will succeed at the next level,” Pirates coach Joseph Allegri said. “He plays a great second base for our team and has gap to gap power.” Full article here.
