The Water Conservation Collation of Santa Cruz County recently announced the winners of the Save Water Video Contest. The Harbor High ROP Video Production class produced TWO first place videos! The winning films won $500 and will be broadcast on TV and at local movie theaters. Their goal is to convince people to save and protect water.

"Water Flows” features original music created and produced in our student built sound booth. The song and video was produced by Jackson Moore, Charlie Diosdado, and Noel Noguez. https://youtu.be/M3dkwIQe3GA

“1940s PSA on Water Conservation” was the other first place winner in the Save Water Category. This retro video was written, sound mixed and produced by Garrett Fernandes-McDade and Max Holocher. https://youtu.be/oY94Eetbdlg

Harbor High students are also included as 4 honorable mentions entries for the contest. All contest videos had to fit into strict broadcast guidelines. Students from all over the county participated and we at Harbor have a nice collection of extremely strong videos in both Spanish and English that were created for this contest. Congratulations to our students!
